Projects coordinator
Construction TG Beco Ltd is currently looking to hire a projects manager for our different construction projects.

Here are the tasks and duties of this position:

  • Be present and prepare minutes;
  • Distribution and updating of plans and specifications;
  • Communication with the subcontractors and professionals for workshop drawing approval;
  • Prepare subcontractors purchase orders and contracts;
  • Perform administrative and technical tasks;
  • Plan and organize the necessary operations to reach the project’s objectives;
  • Assist the superintendent and projects manager to obtain, send and follow-up on important project documents.

Requirements:

  • Great knowledge of the Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PDF Professional software;
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar position;
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans.

Construction Assessor

We are currently looking to hire a bilingual construction assessor for our head office located in Saint-Léonard, QC. The candidate will have to interpret different architectural and structural drawings, as well as the necessary specifications to prepare estimates for many projects.

Summary of the position:

  • Review the documents, specifications, propositions and addendum for the preparation of estimates;
  • Prepare, assess and analyze the quotations and lead negotiations;
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, owners and architects for quotations;
  • Manage changes of opinion and revisions throughout the process, if necessary;
  • Provide the necessary information for the execution of work on the worksite;
  • Provided prices on modifications orders;
  • Regularly communicate and report on work evolution and have the resources act the right time;
  • Comply with the submissions deadlines;
  • Comply with the company’s customer service standards of quality;
  • Make sure that our commitments to our clients are met.

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience as an assessor for commercial, residential, industrial and institutional projects;
  • Great knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel), Adobe Professional, AutoCAD, Recit, SketchUp, BIM and Plan Swift;
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings of any kind and documents related to contracts.

Requirements:

  • Great spoken and written French and English;
  • Capacity for intuition, mathematics and problem solving;
  • Motivated with great organizational skills;
  • Able to work under pressure and comply with deadlines.
